LGSS Law crowned Law Firm of the Year
LGSS Law Ltd, a private law firm owned by Cambridgeshire County, Central Bedfordshire, North Northamptonshire and West Northamptonshire councils, has been awarded Law Firm of the Year by the Cambridgeshire Law Society.
The award recognises, amongst other things, how the firm met the challenges of Covid-19 including delivering excellent client service, safeguarding the health and wellbeing of staff, and demonstrating all-round excellence during the past 12 months.
LGSS Law Ltd’s head office is based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. It also has offices in Northampton and in Shefford, Bedfordshire. The firm provides legal advice to local authority and not for profit clients and has been working closely with local authorities throughout the pandemic.
Debbie Carter-Hughes, Executive Director, LGSS Law Ltd, accepted the award on behalf of the firm at a virtual event held last week (April 23), which was attended by more than 100 lawyers from across Cambridgeshire.
Carter-Hughes said: “The Cambridgeshire Law Society Law Firm of the Year award recognises the outstanding work undertaken by everyone at LGSS Law Ltd over the last 12 months.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff for their commitment and hard work to rise to the challenges, both professionally and personally, that the pandemic has created.”
