Anne qualified as a solicitor in 2003, having trained at a commercial property firm in the City of London. After qualification she built up a wealth of experience at two leading regional law firms and during her career of over 20 years she has also served as a Definitive Map Officer with Northamptonshire County Council, practised as an in-house lawyer for a FTSE 250 business and worked as a development solicitor for a national housebuilder. Anne joined Pathfinder Legal Services (previously LGSS Law) as a commercial property solicitor in 2017.
Appointed as Head of Service for Property, Planning and Highways in 2022, Anne currently manages a team of over 30 lawyers and paralegals and the department is steadily growing in line with the service needs of the firm’s shareholder local authorities. Anne is also Head of Service for Commercial and Corporate Governance.
Anne’s varied background, being a mix of legal work in private practice, ‘in-house’ and within a Local Authority setting (as both a client officer and lawyer), gives her a unique perspective on her current role as Head of Service. Anne enjoys the quality and variety of work from local authorities and other not-for-profit organisations.
